Ananda Balika OGA Netball Tournament

The Old Girls’ Association of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya, Maligakanda, Colombo organised its Netball Tournament recently for the third consecutive year at the school ground. Players from four houses – Meththa, Karuna, Muditha and Upekkha – participated. 

In the final were Karuna and Upekkha and Karuna became the champion for the third consecutive year.

Captain of the Champion team Aruni Wasanthi received the Champion award from Chief Guest Sri Lanka Netball Federation President Trixie J. Nanayakkara and Captain of the Runners-Up Team Nadee Kumarage received an award from OGA Advisor Ruchira Yapa Abeywardena.  Best Player of the Tournament Karuna Team Captain Aruni Wasanthi received an award from Sanduli Tharaka.

OGA Vice Presidents Udayangani Senarathne, Dilini Shiromi Wijewardena, Secretary Anuja De Silva and members were also present at the awards ceremony.
