Merchant navy is one of the world's most thriving industries as 90% of all goods used worldwide are transported by sea routes. One significant incident that reminded most of us of the importance of maritime trade and our dependence on it was the recent cargo carrier blocking the Suez Canal, causing billions of dollars of damage to the global economy with every passing day.
