Felicitation of Tania Polonnowita Wettimuny by Zonta Club 111 of Colombo

IAS Holdings Ltd. Group Managing Director Tania Polonnowita Wettimuny was felicitated by Zonta Club 111 of Colombo for her contribution and women empowerment in the field of Freight Forwarding and Logistics. 

Tania Wettimuny went in to become an entrepreneur after 16 years of stint in a multinational company.   She is the current Group Managing Director and shareholder of IAS Holdings which present joint venture companies of four multinational entities with a direct work force of more than 150 within the group. 

She is the immediate past chairperson of Sri Lanka Logistics and Freight Forwarders Association (SLFFA) and has been privileged to be the first lady to hold such a position in the Indian subcontinent. She is also the former Managing Director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Ltd.
