TCI Vice Chairman and MD Agrawal pays courtesy call to Colombo Dockyard

Colombo Dockyard had the privilege of a courtesy call from D.P. Agarwal, the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Transport Corporation of India (TCI) on 4 May. A veteran in the transportation industry with more than 51 years experience, Agrawal heads the TCI group of companies. 

Colombo Dockyard has been a long-standing business partner with TCI for more than two decades, providing repair and drydocking facilities for the fleet of vessels owned by TCI Seaways Ltd., a subsidiary of TCI. Colombo Dockyard’s services rendered to the TCI fleet of vessels have been appreciated by TCI team, duly conveyed at this meeting. In return, the trust and confidence placed on Colombo Dockyard by the TCI were acknowledged and humbly appreciated.  During this historic visit, a special token gift was handed over to Agarwal by Colombo Dockyard MD and CEO D.V. Abeysinghe to mark over two decades of business relationship between the two companies.
