John Keells Logistics Ltd. (JKLL), a premier third party logistics services provider (3PL) in Sri Lanka, was recognised as a ‘Company with Great Managers’ at the Great Manager Awards (2018), held recently at The Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo.  

Top three awardees namely, Kushalya Happuarachchi – Accountant was recognised as the Great Manager for Sustaining Individual Credibility category while Sampath Godagama – Distribution Centre Manager won the Great Manager awards for Driving Results and Execution category, and Sameera Dassanayake – Warehouse Supervisor won the Great Manager award for Enhancing People Performance category.

The awards were conferred by The Great Manager Awards, a global human resource management consulting body with a focus on improving performance capabilities and business acumen of partner organisations. Individual nominees are assessed for managerial effectiveness based on People Business’ R-OPTI model based on five constructs – Driving Results, Aligning Organisation Vision, Enhancing People Performance, Building Team Effectiveness and Sustaining Individual Credibility. The survey and results are audited by an esteemed advisory panel and faculty.
