Sripalie Contractors wins Merit award for construction sector at NBEA 2017

Sripalie Contractors Ltd., with more than 30 years of a successful business entity as an unconventional construction company with C1 grade in Building Construction and ISO9001:2008 certified company is providing building construction solutions in Sri Lanka.

In its continuous recognition of its determination towards excellence in business, Sripalie Contractors Ltd., this time at National Business Excellence Awards 2017 (NBEA 2017) won a Merit Award for Construction Sector which was held at the Hilton Colombo on 13 December.

Wining of a Merit Award at the NBEA 2017, Sripalie Contractors Ltd. showcased their capacity and strength to go further ahead in the journey of National Business Excellence Awards. Because, this is the first time ever in the history of Sripalie Contractors Ltd., has been recognised at NBEA.

The National Business Excellence Awards is the flagship event of the National Chamber of Commerce in where many corporate establishments entered with much enthusiasm to compete in the excellence awards competition, evaluated under a well-structured evaluation model of seven perspectives – Excellence in Leadership, Excellence in Corporate Governance, Excellence in Capacity Building, Excellence in Performance Management, Excellence in Local and Global Market Reach, Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability and Excellence in Business and Financial Results.

“Our first intervention to this Prominent Awards was in 2015. However in 2015 and 2016, we were able to go ahead to final evaluation stage only, but we anyhow showcased our capability in this time by receiving a Merit Award for Construction Sector. Actually, the company is happy to receive such an award since this is a precious and a more competitive evaluation process enabled. But the company further make sure to grow up to a next level of award competition in the next year.
