The Sotheby’s International Realty (SIR) global team was present in Sri Lanka recently for the marketing launch of its inaugural project, the iconic Sapphire Residences by ITC, which is being marketed to a global audience by Sri Lanka Sotheby’s International Realty, leveraging on the global brand’s unrivaled real estate services.

Sri Lanka Sotheby’s International Realty expects this to be the first of many more discerning luxury projects emerging out of Sri Lanka.

SIR Affiliates LLC Head of Region EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India, Russia, and Africa) Jamie McMullan said: “The global real estate market is growing rapidly as the world gets smaller. The Sotheby’s brand epitomises the pinnacle of luxury, highly sought after by affluent consumers who look for a trusted real estate partner while searching for exceptional properties to buy in Sri Lanka.”

Sri Lanka Sotheby’s International Realty is focused on partnering luxury real estate projects in Sri Lanka, preferring to associate with developers from an early stage whereby it can position the project in a unique way that differentiates it and guarantees its success. SIR also undertakes a host of operational, marketing, and research-oriented initiatives to address the requirements of the Sri Lankan property market, including high quality properties, individual villas, investment opportunities, and estates.

Sri Lanka Sotheby’s International Realty Owner and Director Petar Petrovic said: “Sri Lanka is at an exciting juncture in the history of its real estate development amid mega infrastructure developments, rising number of tourists, and greater investor interest, making it a destination ripe for investment. As Sri Lanka gains in popularity as a must-visit destination, so too will the desire to own a property in the island.”

The SIR network has achieved an astonishing global sales volume of $ 108 billion. It requires a massive marketing machine to achieve such a result. SIR has more than 22,000 affiliated independent sales associates located in approximately 960 offices in 72 countries and territories worldwide. At the heart of the marketing program is the SIR website, which achieves seven million unique visitors per quarter and 30 million page views.

With 2.3 million unique visitors per month, vastly more than any other global competitor, SIR cascades its website down through the following global websites, from China through Europe to the USA: Luxury Estate, Country Life, New York Times, Mansion Global, The Wall Street Journal, Home Adverts, Juwai,

Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, North Country Sotheby’s International Realty, Atlanta Fine Homes, Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, Renwick Sotheby’s Realty, Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s Realty,

Alliance Sotheby’s International Realty, and Kienlen Lattmann Sotheby’s International Realty.
