Projects FPS celebrates completion of Lotus Tower with CEIEC

Projects FPS Ltd. is proud to announce their successful logistics services to the Lotus Tower, the tallest tower in South Asia which opened to the public on 16 September. 

The 350 m tall Lotus Tower constructed at a cost of $ 104.3 million with funding from the Government of China commenced its construction in the year 2012.

Projects FPS Ltd., the Project Cargo affiliate of Famous Pacific Shipping Lanka Ltd., a member of the Global FPS group, was awarded the project in 2012 to handle the local logistics of the Lotus Tower, which includes pre- and post-documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and site handling. Sales and Marketing Director M.F. Ibrahim said, “The total volume of the project was over 500 containers, three Break Bulk ships, 15000 MT of steel and over 200 shipments.” Operations Director Travis Meerwald said, “The team at Projects FPS completed the entire movement on a turn-key basis with a total compliance to the KPIs with zero demurrage, which was a remarkable performance by the operations team.”
