Multilac Rust Killer introduced to Sri Lanka

Macksons Paints, the innovator in the paint industry, has launched yet another ground breaking product Multilac Rust Killer – making rust a matter of the past and the least of a consumer’s worries. Multilac Rust Killer breathes life into all surfaces affected by rust.

Multilac Rust Killer is made to a world renowned and accepted German formula and is an innovative solution to solve the problem of corrosion.  It has the ability to easily cut through and clean the surface of any metal item and this is the first time such a product has been introduced to the Sri Lankan market.

Rust Killer is an easy-to-apply liquid and serves to completely restore rusty surfaces.  Prior to application, the surface should be cleaned and free of dirt, dust and grease.  If corrosion is severe, the surface should be cleaned using a scraper, wire brush or sand paper.  

Once cleaned, Multilac Rust Killer should be applied once and left for two hours to dry.  This should be followed by a second application and a three-hour drying period. Then a Multilac Anticorrosive paint or Macksons Q/D Metal Primer Zinc Phosphate is all that is required. After that apply any Multilac surface paint.
