In a quest to share valuable experiences and insights of illustrious reputed members, TMC’s ‘Members Speak’ series was launched with an interesting point of view by Board of Management President Murali Prakash.

Prakash commenced his presentation on a simple but valuable topic of Time Management. However, the presentation took a 360 degree turn when he kept the audiences pondering on the topic of Time Management – not from one’s own point of view alone but more from the other’s perspective.

1The thought process, which was guided by some interactive and interesting visuals was delivered in two segments. Through the first segment, he touched upon how it was one’s moral obligation of not wasting others time. He stressed upon how as human beings, we have been blessed with the most important gift of life, wealth of life – Time. He further explained his concept of the Economic Value of Time.

In the second segment, he shared some practical tips, one can use when managing time. The concept of saving time was elaborated with drawing parallels to a cash saving account in literal terms.

As thought leader, mentor and regular contributor to the Daily FT, Murali Prakash has agreed to write an article on this topic for the benefit of our readers. The article, which will be published in two segments will lead to a thought process on how one could manage time better – whether one’s own or other’s.
