Dayan Fernando to talk on ‘Seal the Deal’ on 17 August

TMC is proud to present one of its long standing members – Dayan Fernando to talk on ‘Seal the Deal’ on 17 August at 6 p.m. at the Hotel Galadari. Members are requested to attend together with their guests whom they wish to nominate or introduce as prospective members. 

This unique ‘Members Speak Evening’ has been organised in order to create an opportunity for TMC members to make presentations that are light hearted yet on topics that can create lively and interactive sessions. Furthermore, it is an evening where members have the opportunity of meeting and greeting and exchanging ideas with fellow members of all disciplines. It is therefore expected that TMC members will diarise the third Thursday of each month for them to participate in an interesting evening of light hearted presentations, networking and camaraderie. 

Dayan is a former Chairman of The Management Club, (Sri Lanka – MTL) and also the Past President of the Serendib Toastmasters Club and the Charter President of the CIM Toastmasters Club. He is a board member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and has held many positions such as Head of Networking and Fellowship, Head of the Knowledge Development and Head of Education, Executive Committee Member of the JASTECA, and Member of the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (IPM), Member of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and also an Examiner for SLIM. Dayan has held the position of Asst. Lieutenant Governor Marketing for Division A of District 82 Toastmasters International. 

The evening is a highly subsidised program where snacks and beverages are provided at Rs. 500 per head and the series is being sponsored by the Peoples Bank.
