Work-cation

Conventional wisdom tells us to work hard, play hard and never mix the two! Here are a few reasons why you need to consider a Work-cation:

Inability to take time off work for long periods of time.

Even if you do, in these highly connected days, senior managers can suffer from the ‘withdrawal’ syndromes from totally cutting off work.

More than ever before, there is a need for quality thinking time to strategise, which seems almost impossible within the confines of activity addicted offices. Sometimes, a few hours of relaxed, off-site time can trigger high value adding results.

So how about mixing work with a vacation, of course with a ‘firewall’ in between the day?
