Olympics: Will London follow Greece?

Is the spirit of Olympics (going back to its roots) still relevant today? What is the economic and environmental justification for building multi-billion dollar infrastructure in countries that least ‘deserve’ it? For over two billion humans struggling for survival, does it mean anything?

Is it time for a new kind of Olympics to rescue the world from the economic and environmental disasters that are staring at us? Maybe we need a new set of sports, rules, athletes, sponsors and governors!?
