Ban brothels and Bacardi, not burqa!

Minister of Justice Ali Sabry has sought Cabinet approval to ban wearing of burqa at public places and public events that may portend a threat to the national security.  In the new normal with the COVID-19 pandemic, the need of the hour is to ban both brothels and Bacardi and not burqa.

Brothels and Bacardi can aggravate the pandemic and to ban these is a must right now.  With everyone, men, women and children and even small kids sporting the mask and some even a double mask, I myself am unable to identify even my close relatives at times.

A mask, in my opinion, being somewhat equivalent to a burka, isn’t a masked male a severe threat than a burqa-clad female? I think the Minister has got his priorities mixed up. Isn’t what is important right now to take punitive action fast against those masterminds, the sharks and not the sprats, in the Easter attack? No one should be immune from being held accountable but severely punished to give justice to those affected by the Easter Sunday carnage. Over to Ali Sabry to institute action pronto.
