UAE Ambassador pays farewell call on Foreign Minister

Ambassador Ahmed Ali Al Mualla of the United Arab Emirates on Monday paid his farewell call on Minister of Foreign Relations Dinesh Gunawardena.

Minister Gunawardena highly appreciated the services rendered by Ambassador Al Mualla in strengthening the long-standing friendly relations between Sri Lanka and the UAE.

The outgoing Ambassador conveyed UAE’s strong commitment for furthering of existing co-operation in the fields of investment, economy and trade with Sri Lanka.

Secretary Ravinatha Aryasinha and Director General (Middle East) Chaminda Colonne of the Ministry of Foreign Relations were associated in the discussion.
