The environmentally friendly candidate for CMC

As part of his environmentally and ecologically friendly election campaign, Sampath Rambukkana – Candidate for Pamankade (East) in the Colombo Municipal Council, is using this small fully electric car as his mode of personal transport.

“Battery-powered vehicles aren’t the only way to green environment but I am trying to do some change,” Rambukkanage said as a candidate of The Sri Lanka People’s Front, commonly known by its Sinhalese name Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

He is on a mission as he takes the wheel of a car to which a plug-in lithium-ion battery pack can go over 100 miles.
