Specialised Hindi language courses for adults and children

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Colombo announced admission to a new session of Hindi courses conducted at the Centre for the 2019-2020 session. 

The classes will commence from 1 June. Application forms for the courses are available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all weekdays at the Centre, 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7.

The course duration for all levels is one year. The students are taught the syllabus followed by Kendriya Hindi Sansthan (KHS), India and other specialised courses, such as spoken Hindi for all ages, Hindi classes for children, and proficiency classes. 

The examinations for the courses are conducted every year by the KHS, Agra, which also issues the certificates. The classes are conducted by a specialist Hindi teacher from India and Sri Lankan Hindi experts.
