Shipping Minister in China for fresh support

Ports and Shipping Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe met with Transport Minister Li Xiaopeng during his official visit to China.

Samarasinghe is on an official visit to China with the aim of gathering technical assistance in the development of Sri Lanka’s port sector.

Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Dr. Parakrama Dissanayake, Department of Water Transport Director General Li Tianbi, Department of International Cooperation Deputy Director General Zhang Xiaojie and Department of International Cooperation Deputy Director Wang Xingxing  were also present.
