President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will join the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) election campaign today from Anuradhapura. Accordingly, President Rajapaksa is scheduled to attend 12 public gatherings to be held in Anuradhapura district, to ensure the victory of the SLPP candidates contesting in the upcoming General Election.

According to the President’s Media Unit, the meetings are organized by various candidates from SLPP representing the Anuradhapura district. All of the events are scheduled to be held under the patronage of the President from 10 am to 8.30 pm today.
