New US envoy arrives

The new US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Alaina B. Teplitz arrived yesterday. 

Teplitz, a member of the Senior Foreign Service will also concurrently serve as Ambassador to the Maldives. 

She is replacing Ambassador Atul Keshap, who left Sri Lanka in August after serving three years.
