Muzammil new Western Province Governor

A.J.M. Muzammil was sworn in as the new Governor of the Western Province before President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday. 

Muzammil is the current Chairman of the Central Environmental Authority (CEA). He has also served as the Mayor of Colombo and High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia.
