Minister Amunugama meets South Korean Ambassador

South Korean Ambassador Lee Heon called on Science, Technology, Research, Skills Development, Vocational Training and Kandyan Heritage Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama at his ministry office at Sethsiripaya recently. 

At this meeting matters of common interest for the two countries were discussed at length. Investment opportunities in Sri Lanka, development projects in the country and changes to be made in the field of vocational training were among the matters discussed. The Ambassador informed the minister that South Korea was willing to work closely with Sri Lanka in the field of science and technology. The First Secretary of the South Korean embassy, Kwon Miyeon, and Ministry Secretary Sandhya Wijebandara were also present at this discussion.
