Maha Sohon Balakaya’s Amith Weerasinghe refused bail

The Maha Sohon Balakaya’s Amith Weerasinghe was refused bail today and was ordered to be further remanded together with 16 others over the recent violence in Digana, Kandy. The Theldeniya Magistrate’s Court ordered that the suspects be remanded until 23 April. (Colombo Gazette)
