Interpol says Arjuna Mahendran is in Singapore

The international police known as Interpol has informed Sri Lanka that former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran is in Singapore.

The Attorney General’s Department informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today that Interpol had communicated the information to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

An Interpol Red Notice has been issued for Mahendran’s arrest as he is wanted in Sri Lanka over the central bank treasury bond scam. (Colombo Gazette)
