The Health Ministry yesterday published a request for bids for the procurement of COVID-19 molecular diagnostic test kits and laboratory consumables. 

According to the document, a portion of the financing the country received from the World Bank towards the Sri Lanka COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparedness Project will be used for the procurement of these items.

Bids must be submitted by 5 October and the document calls for bid securities exceeding an amount of Rs. 8 million.
