Former LTTE spokesman Daya Master attacked by man with knife

Former LTTE spokesman Daya Master was attacked by a man with a knife in Jaffna today.

Daya Master was attacked by the man at the office of a private television station in Jaffna where Daya Master is employed. The man is seen on CCTV camera video footage entering the office and speaking with Daya Master before physically assaulting him and throwing a chair towards him.

Daya Master manages to push the man out of the office and outside the gate yet the man forces his way in with a knife in his hand. The employees of the private television station, including Daya Master are seen running inside.

It was reported that the television station employees had later seized the man and handed him over to the police. (Colombo Gazette)
