Forensic audit reports debate on 18, 19 Feb.

• Sinhala and Tamil translations of audit reports to be tabled in Parliament ahead of debate

Parliament will debate on the forensic audit reports that examined the issuance of Treasury Bonds by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka on 18 and 19 February, Parliamentary officials said. Even though Opposition MPs requested that two days be allocated for the debate in the first week of February, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya informed Party Leaders who met yesterday that the Sinhala and Tamil translations of the Forensic Audit Reports are required to be tabled in Parliament before the debate and this would take a few days longer.
