Five new envoys present credentials to President

Five new ambassadors yesterday presented their credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s House.

The new envoys were Cheng Xueyuan - Ambassador of China; Lee Heon - Ambassador of Korea; Pham Thi Bich Ngoc - Ambassador of Vietnam; Han Thu - Ambassador of Myanmar and Sirajuddin Hamid Yousif - Ambassador of Sudan. Minister of Foreign Affairs Tilak Marapana and Secretary to the President Austin Fernando were present at the occasion.
