Final rites for Ronnie Leitch today

The final rites of popular singer and comedian Ronnie Leitch will be held at 3 p.m. today at the General Cemetery in Mount Lavinia.

The singer passed away on 1 October in Perth, Australia. His remains arrived in Colombo yesterday. The cortege will lie at a funeral parlour in Borella till 2 p.m. today for public viewing, after which it will be transferred to Christ Church in Mount Lavinia for the final rites.

Leitch passed away at the age of 65 in Perth, Australia after suffering a heart attack.
