Differently abled students meet Sports Minister

Nine students from the Islamic Centre for the Physically Handicapped, Thihariya took part in the Para Olympic Games and won seven gold medals and two bronze medals at the Sugathadasa Stadium recently. It was organised by the Para Olympic Committee.

These winners Nasar, Faheer, Nafees, Mafaz, Saheer, Zameer, Riska, Shafrina and Ruska met the Minister of Provincial Councils, Local Government and Sports Faiszer Musthapha at the Sports Ministry. Along with Chairman of the Centre M.R.M. Rizwan, Manager M.S.M. Nizam, International Advisor Hassim Omar, Sports teacher in charge Ganga Priyadarshini and Assistant teacher Fathima Fazeena were also present.
