Cardinal Malcom Ranjith on In Black and White with Milinda Moragoda this Sunday on TV1

Archbishop of Colombo Malcom Ranjith Cardinal is to be the guest on this Sunday’s In Black and White with Milinda Moragoda, which will be broadcast on TV1 on Sunday 22 Sept. at 8.30 p.m. It will also be carried in Sirasa and Shakthi TV with Sinhala and Tamil subtitles at a later date.

Cardinal Malcom Ranjith is also the Cardinal-Priest of S. Lorenzo in Lucina and holds several other high offices within the Holy See. In 2013 he participated as a Cardinal-Elector in the conclave that elected Pope Francis. Earlier, as a member of the Holy See’s Civil Service, he held many high offices within the Vatican. He has also served as the Papal Nuncio (the Pope’s Ambassador) to Indonesia. Several of the high offices that were held by the Cardinal during his period of service have not been held before or since by a Sri Lankan.
