CWC MP sworn in as Deputy Minister of Primary Industries

Nuwara Eliya District parliamentarian and the President of the Ceylon Workers’ Congress Muthu Sivalingam has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Primary Industries.

He was sworn in as the Deputy Minister before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday. During a meeting with the President yesterday Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) leader MP Arumugam Thondaman along with a delegation from his party has pledged to cooperate with the President, according to media reports.
