Archbishop of Canterbury this Sunday’s guest on ‘In Black & White with Milinda Moragoda’

The guest on this Sunday’s ‘In Black & White with Milinda Moragoda’ will be His Grace Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury. 

The program will be broadcast on Sunday 8 September at 8:30 p.m. on TV1. It will also be broadcast with subtitles in Sinhala and Tamil on Sirasa and Shakthi TV at a later date. 

The Archbishop of Canterbury is the spiritual leader of The Church of England, and head of the worldwide Anglican Communion, which consists of over 85 million members across the globe. 

The current Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who was enthroned at Canterbury Cathedral on 21 March 2013, is the 105th in a line that dates back more than 1,400 years to Augustine of Cantebury, the ‘Apostle of the English’ sent from Rome in the year 597 A.C.E.
