9,983 frontline workers receive COVID-19 vaccine

The Epidemiology Unit stated that 9,983 frontline workers yesterday received the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID vaccine, which brings the total number of people who received the vaccine under the ongoing immunisation program to 156,310.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 5,286 persons received the vaccine on 29 January, 32,539 persons received the vaccine on 30 January, and 21,329 persons received the vaccine on 31 January.

In February, 36,396 persons were vaccinated on 1 February, 23,217 persons were vaccinated on 2 February, 21,147 persons were vaccinated on 3 February, and 6,413 persons were vaccinated on 4 February.

A total of 250,000 frontline workers are to receive the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine through the first vaccination campaign in the country.
