65 more test positive for COVID-19 during weekend

Sixty-five new COVID-19 cases were reported over the weekend, increasing the cumulative total of cases to 3,234 and the active total to 226. On Saturday, there were 26 new positive cases identified, and while yesterday the number of newly identified cases was 39. All were returnees from abroad.  According to the Health Promotion Bureau, 49 individuals are currently under investigation in hospitals. To date, 2,996 persons who had previously tested positive have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
