  • Offers free ad listings for motorbikes, scooters, three-wheelers and auto parts

ikman.lk now supports sellers through free ad listing on motorbikes/scooters, three-wheelers and auto parts as an extension to its listing fee removal campaign launched in October last year to help individuals using the platform navigate post-COVID-19 financial challenges.

Sri Lanka’s largest online marketplace for buyers and sellers, ikman.lk has 3,000+ shops registered on its platform and boasts of an inventory of over 60,000 live ads on vehicles, per month.

“As Sri Lanka’s auto industry grapples with the pandemic, people engaging in vehicle-related businesses are severely impacted. Just when they were making an effort to restart even amidst uncertain times, they were hurt by the second wave of the pandemic. Some of them who have been doing business with us for a long time even reached out to us with their grievances. Given this backdrop, we felt the critical need to help them bounce back from the crisis,” says ikman.lk Director for Vehicles Rimaz Marzook.

He said that introducing free ad listings to the sellers using the platform would ease up the pressure on them through advertising related cost savings.

The special offer makes available every month one free ad listing for motorbikes/scooters and trishaws along with two free listings on auto parts.

The ad users are also provided with the added benefit of gaining more visibility and a faster sale for their advertisement through the Urgent Bundle promotion exclusively offered to this category at a concessionary rate. The Urgent Bundle option lets the advertiser attach an ‘urgent’ tag to the post. The package covers three days of advertising with visibility at the top of the Ad Details Page. Free access to analytics on the ad performance page is also included into this.

Last year, ikman.lk announced free ad listings on over 50 categories across furniture, electronics, laptop, mobile, pets, musical instruments and miscellaneous to help sellers affected by the

pandemic.
