Truck & Route strengthens fleet purchasing Mahindra Blazo Prime Mover trucks from Ideal Motors

As a $ 20.7 billion global enterprise, India’s Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., through its Sri Lankan partner Ideal Motors Ltd., has supplied Truck & Route, a premier transportation entity, with a fleet of its technologically-advanced Mahindra Blazo Prime Mover trucks. 

The ceremony to officially hand over the Mahindra Blazo trucks took place recently at Ideal Motors branch located at Kelaniya Wedamulla.

In 2019, Ideal Motors introduced Mahindra Blazo Prime Mover trucks with Bs4 technology to the local market. The truck has been manufactured to ensure that it requires only a yearly servicing with the ability of greater mileage.

The Mahindra Blazo Prime Mover truck has a 7200cc high capacity engine with a 280 horse power. Additionally, the FuelSmart technology provides greater fuel efficiency. 

Each of these trucks comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox, ABS, adjustable driver’s seat, Driver Information System, a strong 8.5 chassis, attractive dash board and radial tyres.

With over 25 years’ experience, Roshan Mendis and Thushan Mahagedara serve as Truck & Route, company directors. The company was formed to cater to a niche markets and fill the vacuum in the commercial transportation sector.

Truck & Route fleet consists of small vehicles of two feet to 40 fleet vehicles and provides a wide range of transportation solutions including warehouse facilities and management of warehouses.
