Nimato introduces new helmet with Bluetooth SLS and ISO 9001:2015 certifications

Nimato Ltd., manufacturer of SSG helmets and the pioneering company in manufacturing helmets in Sri Lanka, introduced a helmet with inbuilt Bluetooth manufactured under SLS and ISO 9001:2015 quality certifications recently. With the new helmet, the rider can easily answer his mobile phone thus reducing the risk of road accidents. 

Nimato Director S. Gamage started his helmet manufacturing business with just one employee in 1996. He was able to revolutionise the import dominated helmet market with a product guaranteeing maximum safety.  

Its introductory product came to the market as Hawk helmets. Later the SSG brand was launched and within a short history of two decades SSG has become a well-known brand island-wide for safety and quality when it comes to helmets.

“While looking forward to improving quality, safety, comfort and convenience of our products, we would like to invite all our customers to hand over their SSG helmets and exchange it to a brand new SLS certified one. We exchange our older SSG helmets with brand new SLS and ISO certified quality helmets. Therefore we would like to invite all our customers to hand over their SSG helmets and exchange it to a brand new one,” Gamage said. 

Nimato factory is located in the industrial zone of Katuwana, Homagama. SIR Service, a subsidiary, located in close proximity, manufactures rigid foam necessary for manufacturing helmets. 

SIR Service manufactures different types of rigid foam sheets and boxes for businessmen, fishermen and students. The company has started manufacturing ceiling sheets recently.  In addition, Nimato has a star class tourist hotel in Arugambay called Arugambay Surfer Villa and Shell Resort attached to the Nimtao Group.
