Legendary MG is back to stay

The world renowned Classic British Automaker MG is now back in Sri Lanka with their new exclusive Importer Micro Cars Ltd. and EuroSports Auto Lanka Ltd. as the island wide distributor along with an all-new exciting line-up of vehicles. Euro Sports Auto Lanka, specialises in Luxury European vehicles is wholly owned subsidiary of Micro Cars Ltd.

The first model to debut in Sri Lanka is the stylish new MG ZS Compact SUV with modern specs ideal to suit the needs of local consumers and the first batch of MG SUVs was delivered to the respective customers.

The ZS, directly imported to Sri Lanka is manufactured in China for UK, European and Australian markets is the “Exclusive” version, which offers the highest spec of its range.

The new MG compact SUV is powered by a High-powered Turbocharged 1-litre gasoline engine, with six-speed automatic gearbox transmitting 111 hp and 160 Nm of torque to the front wheels, which  suites our Stop & Go traffic conditions for comfort and ease of driving. 

The car accelerates from 0-100 in just 12.4 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h.

In addition the ZS comes loaded with many modern features such as Panoramic Sunroof, 17” Alloy Wheels, 8” Touch display which supports Apple Car Play, Auto lights and Rain sensing Wipers, LED Daytime running lights and “Follow me home lights”, Key less entry, Cruise Control, Reverse Camera with Reverse Parking Sensors, Multifunction steering wheel with full leather interior, 6 Airbags, ABS and ESP. Focusing mostly on Active and Passive Safety. 

The ZS is available in 6 different colours, Dynamic Red, Arctic White, Black Pearl, Silent Silver, Laser Blue and Spiced Orange.

The new ZS is the best in its class in terms of specifications and comes with a three-years/100,000 km warranty.

MG is the latest brand to come under the impressive line-up of brand catered by Micro Cars, having already secured luxury car brands such as Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo and Maserati as well as the mid market brands such as SsangYong, BAIC and Geely.
