Boutique car dealership, Autobahn hosted Olympian and three-time World Champion Liam Tancock, to a stunning meet and greet evening, at their showroom located at 146/4 Havelock Rd, Colombo 5.

Autobahn is a premium European vehicle dealership which offers high-end exotic and premium luxury brands. Autobahn strives to provide the quintessential luxury automobile experience; it is their mission to provide clients with an exquisite vehicle ownership experience. State of the art workshops and a dedicated concierge service are just a few of the facilities and benefits placed at a client’s disposal.

Liam Tancock, who is the current world record holder in the 50-meter backstroke event, was in the Island to conduct an Elite Summer Swimming camp from 23-27 June.  Tancock moved around Colombo in real style, in an Autobahn vehicle, while loving the friendly, empathetic, detail oriented experience Autobahn treated him to.

The evening was, simply put, elegant and classy. The state of the art lights of some super sophisticated automobiles greeted guests and they were given a rare chance to not only feast their eyes on the range of vehicles displayed, but also have a sit-in and feel of the power and technological finesse in these unique machines. While beast-like engines roared through the ambient music, it was the easy, charming presence of the exceptional swimmer that took centre stage.

“We are privileged to be associated with an icon such as Liam Tancock who is a legend in his time. His presence here at Autobahn adds value and lends lustre to our brand,” said Autobahn CEO Rajieve Fernando, while the partners of Autobahn Anithra Ratnayake and Fazaal Nauman expressed their pleasure at being associated with such a famous personality.
