Browns Batteries crown power generation kings at Dealer Convention

Browns Batteries, a strategic business unit of Brown & Company PLC, successfully concluded its Dealer Convention at the BMICH recently. Over 550 participants including Browns battery dealers across the island took part in the convention, ‘Browns Bala Adhipathi Balamuluwa’.

The Browns Dealer Convention creates a platform for all dealers to refurbish their knowledge and to be rewarded for the exceptional service they offer customers throughout the year. 

Velocity Battery Works in Nugegoda and P.O. Lanka Enterprises in Pannipitiya were conferred as the All Island Best Dealers for Exide and Lucas respectively, while 65 dealers and seven institutions were recognised for the efficient and trustworthy service provided and outstanding sales contribution for the financial year 2017 at the convention. 

The winners walked away with valuable gifts such as motorcycles, household electronics and air tickets for overseas tours.

Browns Batteries dominates the market with 70% market share while this year’s Dealer Convention enabled the ground for the Brown & Company’s newest tyre brands Aoteli and Servis to be introduced to the market. Aoteli is high a quality Chinese brand retailed in Asia and Europe while Servis is a superior tyre brand manufactured in Pakistan and distributed across the globe. Brown & Company is the sole distributor for Aoteli and Servis tyres in Sri Lanka.
