wOw.lk wins for Excellence in Branding and Marketing at Golden Globe Tigers 2019

wOw.lk recently clinched the award for Excellence in Branding and Marketing at the recently concluded sixth edition of the Golden Globe Tiger Awards 2019. As a first-time contender, wOw.lk was declared the winner in the category of Internet Business and was one of many prominent brands who were recognised at the event held on 17 July at the Taj Samudra Hotel. 

The Golden Globe Tigers is organised in partnership with the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management, World HRD Congress and CMO Asia – a premium forum bringing elite marketers, brand custodians, advertising and creative honchos together under one roof.

Delving into multifunctional and multidiscipline industries across the globe, the Golden Globe Tiger Awards recognises excellence in numerous fields such as marketing, branding and social innovation. 

The Sri Lankan edition of the awards featured over 20 categories across various industry segments ranging from Banking to Insurance to Telecommunication to Healthcare. The event saw the participation of several industry leaders in their respective fields – such as Commercial Bank, Hatton National Bank, Bank of Ceylon, Airtel, AIA Insurance, Allianz Insurance, London Stock Exchange, Aitken Spence, Sri Lanka Telecom and more.
