Union Bank’s Rajiv David amongst Asia’s Top 50 Brand Leaders

01Rajiv David – Senior Manager, Marketing at Union Bank was recognised amongst Asia’s Top 50 Brand Leaders at the 8th CMO Asia Awards for Excellence in Branding and Marketing, held in Singapore recently.

This title recognises his efforts and contribution to the marketing field and CIM Sri Lanka where he also serves as a Member of the CIM Board. It is noteworthy that with this recognition, Rajiv was placed alongside marketers from India, South East Asia and the Middle East who were also awarded from their respective countries.

Rajiv David is a professional marketer with over 12 years of experience in making a change in the branding and marketing arena. Rajiv completed his studies at St. Peter’s College, after which he went on to complete his CIM, CMA and is also equipped with an MBA in Business Administration in 2009 awarded by the Sikkim Manipal University of India. 

He has experience in diverse industries including over eight years of experience in the insurance field where he has been instrumental in conceptualising, planning and implementing several successful, innovative campaigns. 

Rajiv is currently a Board Member for CIM – UK’s Sri Lanka branch where he functions as the Head of Membership Development of the Chartered Instituted of Marketing in Sri Lanka. He has also been a Council Member for the Certified Management Accounts (CMA) Australia, Sri Lanka Branch in 2012. 

Since its inception in 2001, the Chief Marketing Officer Council (CMO) is known for driving thought leadership and advocacy as a global knowledge transfer agent for thousands of senior marketing professionals globally.
