‘Shaping the future with tech’: Sri Lanka Retail Forum 2019

We are living in an age where technology is running the world. There are numerous innovations that are being aimed at improving the efficiency of life. Since the beginning of the internet era, new technologies have been invented at a rate that no one ever conceived. Now that people understand the capabilities that technology can bring, they are using their time to work on innovations that can shape the future of our world. 

This session will focus on the practical side of implementing tech-based solutions in the retail industry. It will also explore the role of technology in shaping the future of retail moving beyond the hype to understand the opportunities available.

Some of the expert presenters lined up to reveal these insights during session three are Malherbe Paris Sales Director Christopher Renoul, Retail Sensing Ltd. Sales Director Ran Yaron, Pyramid Wilmar Ltd. Chief Operating Officer Thanveer Siddique, Colombo City Centre General Manager Selwyn Chiu and Stax Digital Strategy Consultant Firaz Markar as the panel moderator.

Sri Lanka’s retail industry comes together to identify new trends and map out new strategies at its premier knowledge event, Sri Lanka Retail Forum 2019, which is to be held on 26 and 27 November at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. The Forum is organised by Sri Lanka Retailers’ Association and will feature four thematic sessions, with local resource persons, and foreign experts in the global retail ecosystem.
