The event series is organised by Divinsan Sport and has also partnered with Sri Lanka Sports Ministry, Sri Lanka Triathlon and Shangri-La Colombo.

News Publisher Founder Fiona Nanayakkara said, “The overall objective and sentiment creating an avenue for economic growth and strategically placing it on the international map is the reason News Publisher and Quire are partnering with the CeyEndurance Triathlon Series 2020. By organising triathlons in several locations and creating events for varying abilities we are positive it will gain the desired level of attention and publicity, contributing to that said growth.”

Concluding on the partnership, Quire Sri Lanka Director Strategic Marketing Ianthe Yatawatte Raj noted, “As part of our business objectives for 2020 – Quire and News Publisher had decided to collaborate on stories that provide value for readers, media and corporate entities. This is such a partnership that shares the same principles/objectives. An event of this magnitude is undoubtedly going to catapult Sri Lanka to an international platform. Through this partnership we are positive the country will gain the desired level of positive publicity and we are humbled to be given the opportunity to contribute on an international level to our nation’s economic growth.”

The event represented the launch of the CeyEndurance brand that was developed to cater to sports enthusiasts, as a means by which to elevate Sri Lanka to a higher global sports forum, spearheading and instigating the promotion of endurance sports.

The press conference welcomed media, sports bloggers and influencers, representatives from governing bodies and triathletes from both the national and international circuits to witness the awarding of the series partners.
