OVIKLO grab two prestige awards in SLIM Brand Excellence 2017

OVIKLO International Ltd, marking its footprint on the country’s logistics industry, has won two coveted awards at the 16th Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) Brand Excellence Awards, held at the BMICH in November 2017.

Being one of the largest one-stop-shop logistics and supply chain service providers in the country, OVILKO has bagged the 2017 SLIM Brand Excellence Awards for SME Brand of the Year and Best Entry Kit. 

OVILKO was also nominated to the final round of B2B Brand of the Year at the Brand Excellence Awards 2017, held under the theme ‘Exhibit Your Masterpiece’, where popular brands vying for awards contested under 13 categories.

Established in 2011, OVIKLO provides high-quality logistics services that give customers a competitive advantage in the Sri Lankan logistics industry, offering warehousing, transportation, value added services, project cargo management and supply chain consulting solutions to various industry verticals.

OVILKO Business Development Director Thushan Mahagedara said that with winning two prestigious awards at the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards 2017, the company was encouraged to continuously pursue superior customer experience and innovate further to fulfil OVIKLO commitments.

“We are honoured and privileged to receive the SME Brand of the Year award and Best Entry Kit award. This is the second time that OVIKLO won the Best Entry Kit award. These awards recognized our achievements in customer services and the devotion of our service,” Mahagedara said.

Thanking their clientele of over 300 local and multinational customers, Mahagedara said as a logistics company, they had understood their services are more than traditional logistics and people-oriented services. 

Mahagedara further added: “Our objective is to market safe products of consistent quality that meet or exceed the expectations of their customers and consumers. The requirements given in these expectations are designed warehousing, storing, and handling methods help protect product safety and quality, prevent product retrievals, consumer complaints, and rework.” 

OVIKLO Logistics Solutions, which obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification for warehouse management in 2014, provides customized supply chain management services in diverse markets including telecommunication, automobile, construction, agriculture, export/import, FMCG and manufacturing. 

OVIKLO’s continued commitment to excellence in performance and service provision was recognized at the National Business Excellence Awards under Logistics and Transport sector in for consecutive years from 2014.
