Fairfirst Insurance Assistant Team Manager Danidu Galappaththi topped this year’s National Sales Congress Awards (NASCO) by taking home the Gold for Territory Manager in the General Insurance category.

Coming out as the only winner in the General Insurance category, Fairfirst showcased one of their brightest performers, who is both an imminent leader and a key driver of business for Fairfirst. Galappaththi began his career back in 2015. Outside of work, Galappaththi is also a badminton, karate and cricket enthusiast while also occasionally enjoying indulging in E-sports.

An enthusiastic Galappaththi spoke about his win, saying: “It was a great privilege and honour to have represented Fairfirst at the SLIM NASCO Awards 2019. The experience is truly priceless, providing me with new friendships and insight which will no doubt help my career. I did not walk this journey alone. A special thanks goes out to my superiors who saw the potential in me and always guided and mentored me in addition to everyone else who supported me along the way. This award isn’t just a personal milestone for me but a win for all of us at Fairfirst.”

Expressing his satisfaction at the outcome, Fairfirst Sales Head Sanjay Siriwardena commented: “At Fairfirst, we value hard work, sportsmanship and above all fair leadership. Danidu cultivates a winning attitude across everything he does and is an embodiment of all things believed in making Fairfirst the company it is today. We are thrilled to have him as an active member of our team.”
