Emerging Media has once again partnered yet another spectacular event as its Outdoor and Indoor Digital Media Partner in a long list of many successful events. IRONMAN 70.3 Colombo took place against the stunning backdrop of the Indian Ocean and generally flat, fast nature of the course provided the seasoned athletes the opportunity to seal a personal best and also offered new athletes the opportunity to take their first steps in the sport of triathlon with confidence.

“IRONMAN” is an incredibly prestigious sporting competition held in locations throughout the world. Sri Lanka hosted the full-distance IRONMAN competition this year in February for the second time. Colombo took centre stage as the country showcased its beautiful beaches, historic towns and world-renowned hospitality to a world-wide audience. The Paradise Challenge continued with the Swimming, Biking and Running events which challenged the competitors to the maximum. 

Speaking about the event, outdoor digital media sponsor Emerging Media Ltd. The events took off with the marathon lap in the stunning location of the Galle Face Green on 24 February at 6 am. The stunning views and passionate support extended by the sponsors helped inspire them to the finish line at Galle Face Colombo.
