Emerging Media Ltd. will be marking its 10 years in business. Since its beginning the company has seized every change and major shift in outdoor digital display LED advertising and other digital platforms; as an opportunity to evolve, reinvent itself and remain an active and innovative partner for its clients.

In contrast to its competitors, Emerging Media has over the decade successfully adapted to an industry in complete transformation, owing to the company’s strategy of offering specialised services and value addition. In its meticulousness, the organisation has gone to great lengths to stay current and relevant. It has achieved this by investing in cutting-edge equipment, all while maintaining its personal touch.

“Taking risks is part of good business management. It’s a matter of being aware of the issues and carefully calculating the risks,” explains Emerging Media Founder and Managing Director Sanjeewa Rajapakshe. “We have never shied away from change and we always made sure we were the first to offer new techniques, new processes and new services in order to stand apart in this ultra-competitive market.”

Founded in 2009, Emerging Media was formed with the idea of introducing a novel concept in outdoor advertising through a Digital revolution in Sri Lanka. With the massive success from the introduction of Bus TV for traveller entertainment, Emerging Media launched TV Salon, another unique digital signage platform to tap into vibrant lifestyle brand markets the first time in Sri Lanka, followed by LED advertising, giving brands the much needed opportunity for an effective outdoor display advertising method.

Currently Emerging Media is the market leader in digital signage solutions and location based advertising with indoor and outdoor screens placed in 200+ prime locations in Colombo, Sri Lanka including eight large LED screens.

Over the past 10 years, Emerging Media has built up portfolio subsidiaries, namely: Emerging Events, My jobs, Cooking TV, Out of home digital and partnered companies such as PayHere, Express Jobs and My deal.
