Digital Me bags Best Digital Marketing Campaign of the year at the SLIM Digis 2018

Digital Me, an emerging Digital Media Company in Sri Lanka, was buzzing after being honoured at the SLIM Digis Awards ceremony held at Waters Edge last week. Digital Me won the prestigious Gold Award for the Best Digital Marketing Campaign of the year in the category of Retail conducted for Helanka Shoes. The inaugural SLIM Digis 2018 organized by Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing was intended to recognize the exceptional digital marketing campaigns steered in the digital industry. 

“Poor online presence is one of the key issues faced by Sri Lankan MSME Brands (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in the present context. Most of them are reluctant to switch into online marketing from their traditional media practices due to their budget constraints and limited awareness of digital marketing practices. Winning this award proves the success trail of our mission and its way forward,” Digital Me Ltd. Director Sam Pathiraja said. 

Digital Me was awarded for their extraordinary digital marketing campaign conducted for Helanka Ltd., an embryonic footwear brand in the retail sector. This campaign was designed focusing on a specific issue and delivered implausible results within a shorter period in a challenging business context. “We were highly focused on the creativity as well as the innovation in developing this campaign and well-defined set of objectives lead us towards the success” said Pathiraja. 

Minister of Telecommunication, Foreign Employment and Sports Harin Fernando, who was the Chief Guest of the awards night, mentioned that SLIM Digis is the biggest Digital Marketing Award ceremony that had happened in 2019 and expressed his deeper congratulations for the Digital Me agency for their great accomplishment.
